Which documents can I create for free?
Four, with no sign-up and no fee: your CV (7 layouts), your job application letter, your cover letter and a printable sheet of ID photos. All from your phone, each downloadable as a PDF.
Is SangoServices free?
For workers, yes: they sign up and create their profile and CV for free. Employers: browsing profiles costs nothing; 1 free phone number a day without an account, 3 with an email address or a free account, then 100 FCFA per number. No commission. You negotiate and pay the worker directly.
How do I contact a worker?
Open their profile and tap Contact: after a quick SMS verification of your number, you get their phone number and a direct WhatsApp link. From there you talk freely — SangoServices does not sit between you.
How does payment work?
Directly between you: cash or Mobile Money, at the rate you negotiated together. SangoServices takes no commission and does not handle payments.
What types of services are available?
Cleaning, childcare, cooking, delivery, errands, moving, repair, gardening, laundry and ironing, security, tutoring, elderly care, event staffing, driving, manual labor and other local services. For childcare, elderly care or security, favour profiles with the “ID verified” badge and ask for references.
In which cities is SangoServices available?
Coverage is densest in Douala (by neighborhood: Akwa, Bonapriso, Deido, Bonamoussadi…) and Yaoundé. Profiles are also available in Buea, Bafoussam, Limbe, Bamenda and other cities — new workers sign up every week.
How do I know if a worker is reliable?
Each profile shows tenure, trades and neighborhood. The phone number is verified by SMS, and workers can verify their identity (ID + selfie checked by our team) to earn the verified badge. Also review the portfolio, CV and references, and always meet the person before the first day of work.
How do I rank higher in search results?
Ranking favors complete, active profiles: add your photo and a pitch, publish your CV, verify your identity and log in regularly. Verified and recently active profiles appear before the rest.
What is the public CV?
Every worker can create a professional CV for free (experience, education, languages, references) with 7 professional templates to choose from, and get a public link to share on WhatsApp with any employer — even outside the platform. The CV can also be downloaded as a PDF.
What if nobody matches in my neighbourhood?
The search then shows the nearest workers in the same trade — in your city first, then in nearby cities. You contact them directly and for free, like any other profile. You can also post a free listing: workers of that trade near you are notified and answer you.
Do I need to download an app?
SangoServices is available on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android. You can also use the website directly in your browser, or add it to your home screen for quick access.
Is SangoServices available in English?
Yes. SangoServices is fully bilingual (French and English). You can switch languages at any time, on the website and in the app.
What is the worker portfolio?
Workers can add photos of completed work, certificates and references to their profile. This portfolio is visible to employers and helps workers stand out. Combined with the verified badge and CV, it builds a trusted track record over time.
What if something goes wrong with a worker or employer?
Report the situation to our team via the support page. Reported accounts are reviewed and can be suspended. We also recommend the usual precautions: meet beforehand, agree in writing (even on WhatsApp) and never pay an advance before the first day of work.
