SangoServices is a free directory of local workers in Cameroon, mostly in Douala and Yaoundé. Our mission: every worker found by the employers in their neighbourhood, with no CV required, no middleman and no commission.
Our mission
In Cameroon, 86.6% of employed people work in the informal sector (INS, EESI 3, 2021). Yet there is no platform adapted to the reality of these workers: no CV, no email address, no bank account. SangoServices fills this gap with a simple, bilingual (French and English) directory, accessible from a phone or the web, with SMS registration and free tools to create a CV, a cover letter or a job application letter.
How it works
Workers create a public profile: photo, skills, rate and neighbourhood. Employers browse the directory, get the SMS-verified number and call directly. If nobody matches in their neighbourhood, the directory shows them the nearest workers in the same trade. Payment is settled directly between them — no commission.
