The trade map of Douala and Yaoundé: how many workers per trade (Q4 2026)

in Douala, the best-supplied trades on SangoServices are cleaning (248), babysitting (170) and cooking (146); in Yaoundé, cleaning (113), babysitting (67) and cooking (64). The hardest trade to find is driving: 1.04 searchers per available worker, against 0.31 at most for every other trade.

Workers with a complete profile offering each trade; a worker offering several trades is counted in each.

Setting supply against demand says more than supply alone. Dividing the number of addresses that searched a trade in the directory (July 1 – September 30, 2026) by the available workers offering it, driving stands out: 47 searchers for 45 workers. For an employer, it is the trade to start looking for early; for a worker in that trade, it is where a complete profile gets noticed most.

In Yaoundé, driving (4) and security (3) still have fewer than 10 complete profiles.
